The hike into the summer parking lot was easy. xc ski trails were broken out and gale river rd was well packed by snowmobiles.
The challenge came at the summer parking lot. over a foot of snow and no sign of any path from gale river road to the the trail. Once at the trail head it was clear no one has been on this trail in a while. No sign of a packed trail. Since I was solo I turned around and went up to Waumbek instead. This was all BEFORE saturday nights snow fall. |
