Comments
Comments: Two of us broke out the trail from the Kanc up to North Tripyramid, where we met a lovely hiker, Kyle, who is training for the PCT. He came up Scaur Ridge Trail and was going to check out South Tripyramid Slide back to Livermore Trail. 3 tracks out to Middle Tripyramid, where my hiking parter and I turned around and came back down Pine Bend. The trail is in pretty good shape, a group must have broken it out on Friday or Saturday from the storm on Thursday, so we only had about 6" of new snow to pack down. Trail is still very loose powder, despite our best efforts to pack it down. There are a few spots that will surely look like a massacre took place, but I can assure you, they were just epic bum touches.
