Comments
Comments: The trail up to Lonesome Lake hut was packed out fairly well. After Lonesome Lake up Fishin' Jimmy had 6-12 inches of fresh snow over a packed trail. I passed two others 1/3 of a mile from the hut who had been breaking trail . After that it was just met breaking trail. Eventually two others caught up to me and we took turns. The snow was loose and ascent became difficult at parts. The three of us made it to Kinsman Pond and decided to turn around. Once back to the hut, there were many people hiking up Lonesome Lake trail (most without snow shoes). I wore snow shoes from start to finish and was glad that I did.
