Comments
Comments: The winter parking was tight getting in and out and the walk to the trailhead was slightly annoying. There is a small trail alongside the road to make it a little more entertaining and to warm up/test what gear to use. The snowstorm a couple days before brought some decently deep snow., but people had gone up before us and created a solid foundation for the trail. Snowshoes were a must, and you could wear them the whole time if comfortable. We opted for the microspikes for most of the time and kept to the beaten path. Stepping off of the packed trail made your boots sink to about knee level [so don't wear Microspikes]. Summit was very cold and windy, but not too many clouds so we got some nice views. There were probably around 10 other groups out there that we saw.
Some blowdowns towards the summit required crawling, but nothing too crazy.
