As the name suggests, this is a popular backcountry ski trail. Trail is plenty wide to accommodate skiers and snowshoers, however.
Ranger was cleaning out Black Mtn. Cabin after some not-so-courteous guests left a bit of a mess. She gave us 3 VooDoo Rangers to carry down. :) Nice to get views from both the cabin and the outlook as the only other time I'd been here was at night.
We did the scenic loop through the beautiful softwood forest back to the cabin. |
