Comments
Comments: Road up from winter parking lot had been plowed since they are doing work on some of the buildings at the summer parking lot. Winslow trail was broken out since the last snow fall, but still soft powder - glad we had snow shoes as spikes would not have provided enough traction in the soft snow. We encountered alot of drifting near the summit and many spots the trail was completely filled in. We came down Barlow which had not been broken out since last snow fall. Two of us in snow shoes did break it out, but it is very soft powdery snow. it will take more folks in snow shoes to make it a packed trail. These trails should be good until Saturdays snow fall fills the trails back in.
