Comments
Comments: 4 to 6 inches of snow fell Tuesday night. I broke trail from the parking lot to the peak. The snow was very light up to Zeacliff, then became heavier and deeper especially near the peak. The track is well consolidated for snowshoes to the Hut and to Zeacliff. I would not use spikes.
I left a few holes several feet deep when I stepped off the invisible monorail near the peak. There are many dozen bent over snow covered trees above Zeacliff to work through. They'll need to be cut away to get through after the next snowfalls. Two hikers followed behind me and did a great job smoothing out the track. Unfortunately it will get covered up by tonight's snow. Snowshoes only above Zeacliff. It looked like nobody had traversed Twinway toward the Bonds in a week or two.
