Two of us started out appreciatively following the tracks of another pair. We caught up about halfway up Hale Brook Trail and became a group of four doing some fairly substantial breaking. There may be some drifting, but there is a good chance that this four-hiker out-and-back track will hold up for the Saturday crowd.
