The main Winter parking area was full to the point where I couldn't even do a 3 pt turn in my Honda Fit...if you go back down hill about 100yds there is a wider spot were 4 or 5 cars can park without blocking the road but it is tight. |

80% of the people were wearing snowshoes or skis/skins. The other 20% made life less fun. Not sure microspikes over bare boots gets you much right now as there is almost no ice...many of the bare booters were using the no spikes option and there didn't seem to be much difference, just a whole lot of churning up the trail either way.
Folks, you are going to need snowshoes or skis/skins for a while on the Moose. |
