 | Comments: |
Best to get this one today, most ideal day of the long weekend, before the snow on Sunday and frigid temps on Monday. Now have seven remaining for the TW 72 list.
Counted ten of us on the trail today. Heading up. trail wasn't completely broken out, and quite soft. But by end of day, it was in good shape; not hard-pack, though, so snowshoes were best. Several inches expected in the next 24 hours, so snowshoes will definitely be needed tomorrow and Monday at least.
Garfield Ridge Trail hadn't been touched since the last snows as I headed up, but three people came through by the time I headed down. The trail up South Twin had maybe a couple tracks. |
