Comments
Comments: Yesterday's storm did all sorts of stuff. Generally about 6-8 inches of granular/sleet, then another inch or so of powder on top. Today's high winds have filled in portions of Mountain Road with a foot or more of powder while leaving the sleet crust on parts of Crawford Ridgepole.

Only a hint of one set of snowshoe tracks visible from during the storm. The sleet crust on Mountain Road was generally breakable, while it was often firm enough to support snowshoes on Crawford Ridgepole. Some of the drifts on Crawford Ridgepole are around 5 feet deep (with weird side slopes). Only the top of the stone wall is visible.

A fools errand without snowshoes. My tracks were drifting over this evening with the high winds. Temperatures in the low 20s, dropping quickly with the clearing skies.
