 | Comments: |
The trail was left in great condition. I snowshoed from trailhead and back. I came across one other hiker who also had snowshoes the whole way. There were toe and heal divots left from a barebooter yesterday that the two of us smoothed out. There were some ankle deep post holes but they were few and far between. If you are doing the Hancocks this week please wear snowshoes. The trail is very soft from the warm weather. After the thaw freeze it will be in prime condition as long as no one bareboots or spikes it. Why work harder without snowshoes. Work smarter hikers. |
