Made it almost to the junction with the Carriage Road. My hiking partner went ahead to check and came back and said the drifts are too high and the winds were strong so we turned around. We met 4 other guys who decided to turn around as well. I recommend snowshoes to avoid post holing. It was a great day out. The snow is soft though so bring silicone or some type of spray for your micros/snowshoes. |
