Comments
Comments: We decided to dive a bit deeper into the Mahoosuc Tab of the AMC Guide and had a fun time breaking out the trails on Mt. Cabot in Shelburne. Seemed like it had been a long time since anyone had been out there -if at all this winter. Snow became more sticky and heavy as the day went on and the warmer temps and sun started the melt cycle. The area had been logged not too many years ago and the Shelburne Trail Club has done a really nice job of marking the trail to make it clear. The views from the "view loop" were quite nice. We enjoyed the day and look forward to getting back over there. We stopped at the Shelburne town hall to pick up the Shelburne Trail Club map -really nice to have as we continue our exploration of the area.
