We walked the road in our hiking boots to start, and at the trailhead hiking boots, then switched to microspikes and then snowshoes. |

Not a problem, Gale River crossing was easy, and frozen and snow packed |

It snowed most of our hike, lightly at first but it got to be more as the day went on. We could follow the trail from someone the day before , but the last two miles it was hard to find the trail and the blazes, and many of the trees were hanging down laden with snow. Difficult to see the trail and find the summit. Luckily three of the four of us have done the hike before, and we are pretty sure we hit the summit. |
