Comments
Comments: Beautiful track for snowshoeing. The snow is soft and not consolidated. Everyone I saw today had snowshoes or skis. The only area that thawed and could potentially freeze up nicely is the short bit of trail from the lodge to the intersection with Snapper. Above that is still powder.

Above treeline there are drifts, ice, some bare rocks, rime, lots of wind, and no track to follow due to the wind.

Spikes could be useful for the road walk.
