First one up since yesterday's storm. 2-6" of new snow (lower end on Old Mountain Road; upper end on Crawford Ridgepole from drifting), with a slight crust on a few sections on the ridge (otherwise, it's a powder surface and there is still drifting). Quite a few hidden postholes from parasitic postholers of yore (rolled my ankle in one; thank you!) made for tricky going in places. Snowshoes roundtrip, as snowpack is measurable in feet.
