Comments
Comments: Picked up another inch of snow last night, some of which melted when the sun (briefly) came out this afternoon with temperatures peaking in the mid-40s.

Snowshoes roundtrip. Snowpack is about 1.5 to 3 feet deep, even on this sunny trail.

Trail was fairly well packed up to the first viewpoint (though some slush was starting to poke through). Above there, the trail was less packed and parasitic postholers did their thing in the sunny areas. Much less consolidated above the ledges. No tracks on the High Ridge Trail.

Fortunately two other snowshoers came up after me, so hopefully the trail is left in good shape as temperatures start to plummet. Snow showers started around 4.
