Comments
Comments: The three of us left Gale River Road Parking Area at 630. Garfield Trail was well established and made it to Mt Garfield by 10am. Garfield Ridge Trail was not well established, with 6 to 8 inches of new snow. This section required alot of route finding. It started to snow on the way Mt Lafayette and was white out conditions on top. The long time on Garfield Trail and white conditions prevented us from finishing Licoln, Liberty, and Flume. We somehow found our way down Greenleaf and Old Bridle. It was a long and scary day. A big thank you to the "big guy" for coming in his white truck to bail us out.
