Parking lot does not appear to have been plowed at all this winter at the bottom of Mt Kinsman Trail. Luckily, not much snow to speak of. Had no trouble getting into the lot with studded snows on the Prius. |

Easy cruise up the Kinsmans. Not much snow down low as stated above in the parking notes. Trail is in beautiful shape. Cruised in dull Hillsounds to about 3000 where I switched to snowshoes, wore them up and back down to the same spot and switched back to spikes. Please wear snowshoes when it warms up Wednesday/Thursday to help keep things nice. |
