Decided to stay in the trees on this cold winter day. Met alpinesheep at the hiker hostel this morning and since we both need Hale for winter, we decided to hike together! Fun day in snowshoes. Parked at Seven Dwarfs (thank you to the landowner). Once we passed the bridges and were on the trail, snowshoes went on. Nicely packed trail up to Hale, gradual and beautiful. Looked like the trail going towards North Twin was also packed down. Didn’t stay long at the summit, temps were definitely frigid. Felt nice to not break trail and follow a nice pack! Even snagged some great views through the trees |
