Comments
Comments: A beautiful afternoon with a brisk breeze. Up to the ledges is packed nicely, spikes worked well. There were a few open areas up to Welch that had some drifting snow with some minor postholes that you could easily avoid. The views were spectacular today. The trek to Dickey was well packed too. Down from Dickey was basically a highway, only encountered a few areas that had drifting snow, but the sections were short, certainly not long enough to break out the snowshoes. A great afternoon outside. Spikes were great for the loop, but rain is in the forecast for mid-week [snowshoes needed] and then back to freezing temps starting again on Friday. Take care out there.
