Long slog to get Bondcliff checked off the list. Lincoln Woods is like a sidewalk, did fine with spikes to about 2200 on the Bondcliff Trail, then switched to snowshoes. Some drifts above 3000 that will definitely require them. Hillary Step isn't bad, big drift to get up and over. Note that the conditions the next two days will cause things to soften up considerably. Good hiking! |
