The raging water sounded like thunder and you could feel the ground rumbling.
North Twin Trail was stable on the way up until the water crossing. The ice bridges were all blown out. The raging water sounded like thunder and you could feel the ground rumbling.
Hiked Fire Warden instead. Postholed every 20 steps, on average, in snowshoe, but made it to Hale.
On the way down North Twin there was what looked be an ice patch that I had crossed on the way up. This time I sunk in water up to mid thigh. Its giving soft out there. |
