Windy day on Jackson, only one on the trail today. The freeze thaw cycle froze everything up and I was able to complete the hike with just microspikes, but you have to stay on the trail or you'll posthole. The trees are mostly free of snow, no more snow loaded trees hanging in the trail. Overall a good day. Just had to deal with the strong winds right at the summit. |
