York Pond Road is solid ice starting before entering the WMNF. It's pretty sketchy, I wouldn't attempt the drive without decent snow tires. |

The trail is in great shape. Solid pack after the refreeze and very few postholes. There was a dusting of fresh snow at the start and got deeper and driftier as you climb. We spiked up and tossed on snowshoes on Kilkenny Ridge Trail and kept them on all the way back to the lot.
