 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A very large blowdown about a mile in. No defined track around it- seems new. Some of us went over, some around. Lots of small sticks and branches on the trail we cleared |

 | Dog-Related Notes: |
My dog was having some issues falling into the post holes left from a few days ago. Otherwise it’s a great hike for dogs. |

 | Comments: |
Headed up with a small group and donned spikes immediately. Due to the frozen conditions, snowshoes went for a ride. Last trail report alerted us of lots of postholes. Was difficult to maneuver around them as some were covered lightly by snow. We’d sink and fall in, or make very conscious efforts to avoid them. Quick hike up to the bare, windy summit. Some small patches of slick ice on the rocky slabs going down. |
