Comments
Comments: The trail was in magnificent shape today. Total sidewalk all the way up to the bush whack. We did it in micro spikes and had no problems at all. We did put on our snow shoes to go up Brutus and we were happy to have the televators and traction for this section. There are also areas at the summit that were deeply drifted , so snow shoes were the right choice here. All the water crossings were completely bridged and there was not even any visible water. On our return, all the water crossings were still solid. If you need owls head this month it is a fantastic time to go. We saw about seven people total today. Many seemed fine doing the entire thing in just micros.
