A breezy day but the trail was in good shape after the recent thaw cycle. Stayed on top without snowshoes up to the slide. Put on crampons and had my pup break trail up the steep bit. Winds picked up near the top of the slide and after popping out of the trees and getting up to the summit, decided to call it a day. Was planning on doing Fliberty but turned around on Flume. Only saw two other groups on the trail. |
