quick up and down to get Cannon for March. The trail is in good shape. I used my snowshoes to go up but many were using microspikes with no problem. The trail was hard pack with granular to soft snow on top. Some drifts once close to the Cannon cliffs but again, nothing significant. I switch to K-10 for the return. I met probably 25 hikers today, Paul from Littleton had fun sliding down, two women from Quebec City. We had good views of the Franconia ridge however Lafayette was in and out of the clouds. |
