Comments
Comments: Echoing Hot Pocket's report from earlier (left off the ' in Owl's so I don't think their report will get "remembered" in the Owl's Head report list). A solid, fast track. I barebooted to the base of Brutus where I put on micros, took them off about a mile past the base of Brutus on the way back. The snow was grippy without the micros which will probably change with a little more traffic. Lincoln Woods trail was much icier on the return trip. Nobody has done the slide in a while. The top of Brutus and the ridge has some loose snow where snowshoes would be nice but myself and the others in micros didn't seem to be having much trouble. Up and down in 5:15 and there were at least 3 people going much faster than I was.
