Solid snow on Zealand Road with a bit of ice. Hale Brook Trail in good shape,with frozen packed snow. Wore microspikes about a mile and switched to snowshoes for the steeper sections with some loose snow. Be prepared for a difficult section with slanted footing a little more than halfway up Hale Brook. |
