Comments
Comments: Happy I could grab this outlier for my March grid. Currently the best trail conditions to put on the spikes and go. There was plenty of firm grippy snow on all of the ledges to make getting up and down them easy. The whole route is firm packed snow currently. There is a lot of snow in the woods, so if you’re thinking of stepping off the trail and maybe bushwhacking, you will want snowshoes. I saw no evidence of traffic on the Tom Wiggin trail at the junction with Blueberry ledge trail. But, the sign does say » not recommended «  :) Now is the time to grab today’s route. Plenty of packed trail to the true summit of whiteface and I imagine continuing across to Passaconaway would be more of the same.
