Comments
Comments: Microspiked the entire way. Trail was hard packed and easy to navigate for the most part. A few sections of trail on the ridge that had been wind-blown, but was sufficiently packed down by prior hikers, so no issue walking through. Chimney was fun to ascend. Good, soft snow to dig my boots into. Took the cut-off on the way down, which was pretty challenging itself! No ice to speak of, very little wind, beautiful views, nice temps. Light snow began to fall as we finished the last mile back to the car. Perfect day to do the Os. Perfect day to do any peaks, I'd say.
