Comments
Comments: Trail to the Avalon junction is well packed. After that it’s a combination of few inches of fresh snow/snow drifts and well packed trail. Avalon trail after junction is very slick due to sliding. Snowshoes were my choice of traction today. Willey range trail had a few blowdowns but can easily get around or on top/ crawl under. A few deep postholes were present on the trail. Great time to do this route as the ridge is well traveled right now so route finding wasn’t an issue at all.
