The road is hard packed and choppy. Zealand Trail is in good shape. Twinway above the hut had some drifting to break through. Higher up, you are up in the trees due to high snow. Another pair of hikers was also headed to Zealand. Tracks did not continue towards Guyot, though the old track was apparent under snow/drifting.
This finished a single season of the 48; something I have not done in over 10 years. |
