Comments
Comments: Started at around 22 degrees at base around 0730.
Trail well consolidated with some prior post holing within
First 1.5 miles. Overnight wet snow of one to two inches
made lower level trail sticky with snowshoes. Once you
hit the higher elevations the snow was more powdery. Still
Lots of snow still on the ridge. Mount Liberty is blown
Off and icy - traction needed. Snowshoes with televators
Recommended!! Lower portion of the trail softened
In the afternoon.
