Comments
Comments: Quite a difference in conditions between today's warm work trip, and the chilly rekky trip a couple of days ago -- snow is melting fast.

(See report from a couple of days ago, for more information.)

We removed one minor leaner and one small stepover blowdown on WFT, and then removed relo flagging on Elwell Trail while blazing the relos and camo-painting out the blazes on the old, bypassed, gnarly sections [insert several Prince Michaels here] of trail. Also cleaned and blazed a new side trail on Elwell near the Bear Mountain summit -- this leads 75 yards (?) to an open ledge with nice views of Mt. Cardigan. This side trail is signed, as well. NOTE, though, that there are some half-buried frozen deadfall bits under the snow on this side path; they'll get cleaned out later, after the snow melts out. (No trippies or there will be owies!)

Snowshoes were a must on this trail, especially later in the day.
