 | Comments: |
Did the clockwise loop on the south branch of Imp up to Carter-Moriah, south to Zeta Pass, and then down Carter Dome and 19-Mile. Spikes were fine most of the way up from the Camp-Dodge short-cut to Carter-Moriah, where I switched to snow-shoes after post-holing twice. Perfect conditions: mostly blue skies, warmer temperatures, and solid-pack trails mostly. Only saw one person all day - most of the way down 19-mile, a skier ascending. No need for crampons (they went for a ride), but a good idea to take spikes and snow-shoes. |
