 | Comments: |
Bare booted to the river crossing, then spikes to about 4000'. Snowshoes from there over North to South and all the way back back to the trailhead/summer lot. The snow from Sunday night was unconsolidated and sticky. But after three sets of snowshoes it's not as sticky now. I'd still recommend snowshoes, especially going down in the afternoon. The trailbed was softening and the snow was turning to mashed potatoes with the warm temps. |
