Comments
Comments: We started around 9:45 up to Avalon. The trail was pretty steep going up to Avalon and from Avalon to Field. Not to windy on the ridge but some serious melting was going on. While we were hiking through the trees, it felt like it was raining from all the snow melting. The trail quickly got pretty wet and slushy but microspikes were all we needed the whole time. Going off trail though you’d definitely run the risk of falling into a pretty deep spruce hole. All 4 peaks took about 5 hours with breaks at each one for some snacks. Views were pretty amazing with the snow accumulations letting us see over the trees.
