Comments
Comments: Went up at sunrise in sub-freezing temps hoping to spike the firm track we left a few days ago -- it was not to be. Snow (up to 2 feet, higher up) is way too soft for anything but snowshoes.

After some time spent checking out the blazes (they've dried just fine) on the new relos, and cleaning some deadfall, we headed down. It was 40 degrees at the trailhead, already.

Save for some frozen snowshoe and moose postholes from before the last warm-up/refreeze, the track is fine. You will posthole in snowshoes if you step off of that track.

Note that nearby snowmobile trails have closed for the season.

Really nice views up top, with the early morning light.
