Comments
Comments: Zealand Road has been plowed to Bethlehem Water Department road, making for a treacherous mix of gravel, pavement and ice. Hopefully the afternoon sun helped eliminate this challenge. Zealand Trail to Twinway was well tracked and good for spikes. Nearer Zealand summit there was a spot where the trail split into three options; the central one was correct. Snow disappeared between the 2 Guyot summits; careful steps on the rocks were needed. Snowshoes from there to Bond on a generally well defined trail, albeit with lots of spruce branches encroaching on the trail. Definitely recommend eye protection. Rocky bare boot section from Bond to Bondcliff, then spikes for the long walk to Lincoln Woods. A little soft in places never enough to make snowshoes seem necessary.

Beautiful warm almost windless sunny day. Views were outstanding!
