Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The beaver flooding near the junction with Shaw Trail isn't terrible but you will get your feet wet if walking straight through. One small tree down above that junction that just needs to be trimmed; the trunk is off the trail. Shortly beyond that is a medium-sized high leaner that isn't being held on by much.

Comments
Comments: Took a walk along Fundy Trail at Pawtuckaway State Park today to do some "preconnaissance" for the upcoming trail work season that starts next week.

The trail itself was a mix of bare ground, soft ice monorail from snowmobile traffic, standing water, old snow, and mud. Spikes could have been used I suppose but it was just easier to bare boot it. The ice is soft enough that it has some texture. Since this trail gets a lot of sun, the remaining ice shouldn't be around too much longer.
