Comments
Comments: The lower part of the trail was slushy in the morning with nighttime temps above freezing, even more slushy and slippery coming down in the afternoon. Mid trail had a good solid path generally wide enough for passing without post-holing. The top sections in the sun also getting slushy and were getting post-holed. When you get to the top loop, I highly recommend going left, despite one tree down across the path which can be stepped over. If you go to the right, snowshoes would be very helpful. There are many, many deep postholes for much of the way around to the right.
