Comments
Comments: Crawford Connector to Pierce can be barefooted but most in spikes. I used snowshoes all the way to Ike & back to Pierce, I did drop them for the climb to Ike. Heading up to both peaks have running water & bare rock. Pierce still has snow while Ike is completely snow free. The trip from Pierce was an adventure, trail is very confusing in spots, lots of trails that dead end. Snowshoes are the best way IMO, snow is very soft, lots of spruce traps & postholes. Surprisingly no issues with balling snow. Lots of people out 99% in spikes. Met up with Joseph & we had Ike to ourselves, winds were really howling here! Spikes on for a quick trip down. Beautiful day with Spring conditions.

Good luck Brooke with your Grid finish in site!
