Comments: Didn’t see another soul!

Started up by headlamp, Falling Waters was in great shape for spikes, no snowshoes needed. Potholes if you step far off monorail, but monorail is mostly 2ft wide and easy to see with dirt on the trail. All water crossings intact, no wading, no rock hopping, I was pleasantly surprised! Some evidence of “butt-sliding” evident, but overall trail is in very good shape.
Ridge had sustained 30mph wind, with some gusts strong enough to blow me up the trail/blow me off my feet. Ridge also was almost all rock and puddles with some patches of blown in snow drifts, all stable.
Sign atop Lafayette broke off this winter, but has almost thawed out so the signs can be recovered.

Took a good digger after being blown off my footing on the descent, bent a pole, dinged the phone considerably. It’s good for a story.

Old Bridle Path was thin monorail with A LOT of postholes right off the main path. I was mostly running, and avoided any new post-holes, so it’s not bad. I think this warm weather will play havoc on the trail in the coming days.
