Comments
Comments: Mixed bag of late winter into early spring trail conditions, from packed snow superhighway on Crawford Path up to Pierce, then a lot of mushy melting snow on the way over to Eisenhower. Snowshoes were best for the section between the peaks, back to spikes below Pierce. Also in here were many postholes, a couple looked to have been formed by entire long legs. Thankfully the holes were generally to the side of the track, not in the middle of it.

A little ways up the summit cone of Eisenhower I barebooted it to a dry snow-free summit - it was in this area that there was running water on the trail, from snow melt. Met a lot of nice folks, from solo to pairs, small groups to bigger groups. Felt spring-like with starting temps at 9am of about 40°F, up to probably mid/upper 50s at end (my car said 61 out on Rt 302).
