Comments
Comments: Most of the surface was wet muddy or dry open trail. But sections of length 100 yards to 3/4 mile on the High Ridge and Oak Ridge Cutoff were frequently causing us to posthole kneedeep. Just pushed through and it would be followed by a section of bare ground and then postholing again. The section of high ridge near the summit past the junction with Black Snout Trail was fully packed by snowmobiles. Saw no one else once more that 1/4 mile from parking.
