We chose the road walk and logging road on way up, but crossed the brook on the way back - was moving pretty quickly, but not too deep. Made it ALMOST all the way across on the rocks before foot slipped in and got a little wet. |

Used logging road to avoid crossing, but the logging road was REALLY tough - used snowshoes and was still postholing the hole way to the trail junction, hence the crossing on the way back down. We had almost all conditions on the trail - bare trail, full snow, monorail, solid ice, broken ice, etc. It was a beautiful day and a great hike! |
